the new york public library picture collection has been providing designers with references for over a hundred years. with the digitization of it’s contents, it can now be used by anyone in the world. to celebrate the picture collection and the inspiration i’ve gotten from it, i’ve created a typeface from some of the lettering that can be found in it’s collection. though the nyplpc is the only part of the library to not focus on text, i wanted to highlight that it contains everything an artist or designer could need. download the font here (currently only supports lowercase)
